Amanda’s bridal shower at Water’s Edge in Centerport was the definition of elegant, feminine, and full of heart. With panoramic water views, natural light pouring in through large windows, and a modern-yet-timeless interior, Water’s Edge provided the perfect setting to celebrate Amanda surrounded by her closest family and friends.
Her mom truly went all out—no detail was overlooked. From custom signage to lush floral centerpieces, the room felt like stepping into a romantic daydream. The soft pink palette, touches of gold, and whimsical balloon installations added a fun and celebratory feel to the elevated space.
The Details That Made the Day
As guests arrived, they were welcomed through the cocktail space, where a chic champagne wall doubled as the seating chart—elegant flutes tagged with names and table numbers offered a fun and refreshing start to the celebration. It was such a creative and interactive way to guide guests into the party.
The main room was just as dreamy. A pink and white balloon arch framed the entrance, flanked by florals from Flower After Flower that included blushing roses and fluffy white hydrangeas. The table settings were pure perfection: blush napkins wrapped around personalized menus rested atop gold charger plates, bringing a soft glamour to every place setting.
Each table was thoughtfully arranged with fresh floral centerpieces and blush table numbers in gold stands. Amanda had a “bride-to-be” denim jacket draped over her chair—a fun touch that made for great photos!
Dessert Goals
The sweets table was a showstopper. Sydney’s Sweets created a tiered cake with vintage-style buttercream piping and dainty floral accents, paired with a spread of mini desserts and custom cookies that echoed the party’s color palette. Everything was almost too pretty to eat (almost).
Thoughtful Touches
The celebration also included a sweet station for advice and well wishes. Guests could write notes and drop them in a glass keepsake box. Amanda’s mom also had custom pencils made in pink and gold—a cute, useful little favor that felt so on-theme.
Planning the Day
Jocelyn at Dalia Events helped bring Amanda’s vision to life, making the day run smoothly from start to finish. From coordinating the decor to styling the tablescape, her attention to detail helped make the entire room feel polished yet inviting.
Amanda’s mom approached Jocelyn with a few inspiration photos and the star of the show, the invitation. They worked together to pull some ideas from each to create some design plans.
“She allowed me to put my own creative touch in the displays and we fine tuned the smaller details together as we spoke about her daughter, Amanda’s, must haves!”
Custom Favors with a Personal Touch One of the most memorable elements of Amanda’s bridal shower was the custom perfume bar by Scentimentally Yours. Each guest had the opportunity to create their own personalized fragrance to take home—a thoughtful and elevated favor that perfectly matched the elegant, experience-driven vibe of the day. It was such a fun and interactive touch, and guests loved walking away with a signature scent they helped design.
