There’s something magical about capturing memories while on vacation. Melissa and Kyle know this well. Montauk has become a special tradition for them, a spot they visit every summer to relax and reconnect. This year, however, their trip was extra meaningful—they’re engaged! Even though they’d already had their engagement session in New York City, they wanted something different, something that truly reflected who they are. So, we planned a session right in the heart of Montauk.
We started the afternoon with a walk along the beach, capturing the quiet romance of the ocean waves. Then, we stopped outside the hotel where they were staying for a few candid moments—a perfect nod to the trip they’ll always remember. To end the night, we headed into Bounce, one of their favorite nightclubs, where we got playful, nightlife-inspired shots that reflect their fun-loving energy.
As a photographer, I absolutely love traveling for engagement and family shoots, especially in places like Montauk. The mix of coastal charm, breathtaking beaches, and vibrant spots like Bounce make it the perfect backdrop for authentic, memorable photos.
