Samantha’s bridal shower had all the hallmarks of a celebration put together by people who love her. Her mom and aunt handled the décor themselves, and their attention to detail was so impressive. Samantha’s mom chose The Union in East Meadow, a venue that sits on the grounds of the historic Eisenhower Park golf course and carries a quiet elegance that pairs beautifully with a garden aesthetic. The light inside is generous and even, and the renovated space allows for the kind of layered, lush tablescaping that a garden theme demands without feeling cluttered or closed in.
The garden concept was expressed with restraint and intention — greenery, florals, and textures that felt organic rather than literal. The tablescape leaned into the soft garden palette with sage green linens, gold charger plates, floral-printed napkins folded at each place setting, and mismatched vintage glassware that felt collected rather than coordinated.
Anchoring the bloom bar was Nailah of Styled by Nailah, whose work I’ve had the pleasure of photographing across many Long Island events over the years. She brings the same energy to every setup: considered, efficient, and genuinely warm. The bloom bar was a beautiful touchpoint for guests and one of those details that photographs from every angle.
