When Gabriella reached out to me about her baby shower, my heart was full—I had photographed her sister’s bridal shower at this very same venue two summers ago, and now I was being trusted with capturing yet another beautiful chapter in their family’s story.
A Return to Hendrick’s Tavern
We returned to Hendrick’s Tavern in Roslyn, NY, a venue that had already proven to be the perfect backdrop for memorable celebrations. Their banquet and event space offered everything we needed for an intimate and elegant baby shower. The private party room provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere where friends and family could gather to shower Gabriella with love as she prepared to welcome her little one.
Stunning Details That Took My Breath Away
Can we talk about these details for a moment? The decor was absolutely stunning—and here’s the best part: Gabriella’s mom and aunt created everything themselves! The elegant green, blue, and gold balloon installation, the gorgeous white floral arrangements, the “Baby Bonomo” signage, and that beautiful dessert table with its rich blue velvet linens—every single element looked like it came straight from a high-end event designer.
Watching Gabriella surrounded by many of the same faces who celebrated her sister’s upcoming wedding, now gathering to celebrate her journey into motherhood, was incredibly touching. There’s a comfort and ease that comes with photographing people who trust you, and that trust shows in every genuine smile and candid moment. I am excited to work with their family as their family grows!
