Some celebrations feel like they were designed to be photographed, and Christie’s baby shower was one of them. Held at Arlo Kitchen & Bar, the afternoon was warm, intimate, and beautifully considered in every detail.
The theme carried through from the first table to the last: soft blush florals, delicate fawn and deer accents, and a palette of pinks so thoughtfully layered they read almost like watercolor in person. Balloon installations anchored the room with just enough drama without overwhelming the femininity of the setting. A custom welcome display set the tone at the entrance, and the gift table was styled to perfection.
Arlo’s private event space provided a beautiful canvas: intimate enough to feel personal, polished enough to feel special. The wine wall in the background added a moody depth to some of the tableside portraits that balanced the softness of the rest of the décor.
There is something about photographing a milestone like this — the last quiet celebration before everything changes — that never gets routine. Christie, I cannot wait to meet your little girl, and I hope these images are everything you imagined and more.
