Nicole’s bridal shower doubled as her 30th birthday, and the theme carried both occasions at once: celebrating her next chapter. The idea showed up everywhere, from the signage to the game prizes, which were books instead of the usual trinkets, a small detail that said a lot about the kind of celebration her family and friends put together.
The party was held at Bellport Country Club on Long Island’s south shore, a venue that has hosted its share of showers, birthdays, and milestone gatherings over the years. The room opened onto both indoor and outdoor space, which gave the afternoon room to move between a seated meal and time outside without ever feeling rushed.
The “next chapter” theme ran through the space in soft, literary touches, and it never felt heavy-handed, more like a thread tying two milestones, the wedding ahead and her birthday into one afternoon.
